Erica Baerwald (she/her) has worked in the non-profit sector for more than 20 years bridging deep operational expertise with progressive leadership opportunities. Her experience spans both local and international contexts, supporting staff, volunteers, community partners, newcomers, families, and diverse communities through periods of growth, change, and transformation.

Holding senior leadership roles in human resources and operations, Erica‘s career has centered on the people at the heart of organizations. She is known for bringing people together around a shared purpose and is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, thoughtful approach to change, and ability to align people, systems, and strategy in service of mission.

Outside of her professional work, Erica is actively engaged in her community and reconciliation efforts in rural Saskatchewan. Guided by the belief that strong organizations and communities are built through trust, collaboration, and authentic, joy-filled relationships, she is passionate about creating spaces where people feel empowered to contribute.
