Join us for an inspiring Keynote Speaker:
We are honoured to welcome Kendra Weenie, an award-winning author, keynote speaker, and workshop facilitator from Sweetgrass First Nation. In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Kendra will share her personal story and experiences. Her work emphasizes resilience, empowerment, and healing, making her an important voice to lead this meaningful conversation.
Kendra is a CBC Future 40 Award recipient and has shared her knowledge at events across the province. Kendra came from humble beginnings, but through sport and culture she was able to further her confidence, work ethic, and sense of identity. Kendra continues to share her story through keynotes and workshops in hopes of encouraging others to heal and promotes self-care and healing through her workshops.
