Hopeful Hearts Home

What is Hopeful Hearts?

“Hopeful Hearts Home” is a voluntary initiative designed to provide women and their families with a safe home and nurturing environment to heal from experiences of interpersonal violence.

Over the course of two years, our program offers a comprehensive array of support and services tailored to help women envision a brighter future and restore their sense of hope and empowerment.

Referral Procedures

Individuals are able to self- refer or can be referred by a current professional support by completing the attached application form and can be directly sent to hopefulhearts@ywcasaskatoon.com or through the Coordinated Access Intake and Assessment process.  We strongly encourage individuals to go through Coordinated access to be added to the by name list to allow for more housing options should they not meet the hopeful hearts criteria.

What is Coordinated Access:

Coordinated Access is a centralized system designed to assess the needs of individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness and ensure they are referred to the most appropriate housing and support services. This approach provides equitable access to housing resources and focuses on a person-centered model that connects people with solutions that address their specific needs.

There are multiple options for completing the Coordinated Access Intake and Assessment process. For an up-to-date schedule of all the drop-in times and locations available throughout the city, please visit the Metis Nation Saskatchewan website by clicking the link below.
