Smoothie Bowl Recipe for the Fitness Foodie

Smoothie bowls are fast becoming a fave snack (or meal), as a healthy alternative to ice cream or frozen yogurt. Like good old-fashioned ice cream, smoothie bowls are cold, creamy, and thick enough to scoop with a spoon—with the added bonus of nutrient-rich fruits and veggies. Fire up the blender and give these game-changing recipes a go!


*This recipe will make one smoothie bowl

2 sliced bananas

½ cup of frozen blueberries

½ of frozen raspberries

1 cup of fat free Greek yogurt

5 ice cubes

1 cup of skim milk

1 scoop of Protein Powder


½ sliced banana

4 strawberries that are sliced in half

1 tablespoon of Goji berries

1 tablespoon of hemp seeds

2 table spoons of sweet or unsweetened coconut flakes
