How Challenging is an Aqua Fitness Workout?

Did you know that movement in water provides approximately 12-14 times more resistance than when the same movement is performed on land. On land, all upward movement is performed against the pull of gravity, whereas work in the water may be assisted with or resisted against buoyancy. This resistance will become more challenging when using water equipment. Most people will see results fairly quickly and soon realize that the “water gym” may be the fountain of youth for all!

The warm water is soothing while instructors give you a great stretching, strengthening, and low impact aerobic workout. This class is great for those who have had joint replacement surgery, arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Aqua Fitness 1,2 & Prime
Fitness with NO swimming experience necessary! Have a great Aerobic workout while toning muscles and improving flexibility and coordination. Get ready to work hard and have fun! We have three levels of Aqua Fitness classes.
AQ-1 Sets the stage with a mild to moderate aqua fitness workout.
AQ-2 Increases the challenge as the focus shifts to a moderate to advanced physical challenge.
AQ-Prime Prime is for those looking for an intense and challenging Aqua Fitness workout.

Splashing ,stretching , twisting , laughing and even shouting are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines in a safe, challenging , water based workout that us a cardio conditioning , body toning and most of all exhilarating beyond belief .
Come ready to work in this class! The instructor will lead you through a series of cardio exercises that get your heart pumping. All levels welcome.
