In the Job Search Program, you will work with professional employment counsellors who provide job searching training, ongoing support and direction in the process of finding and securing employment.

From your first meeting to ongoing support and direction, we assist you to develop a plan to promote yourself in Saskatoon’s job market. Our counsellors will motivate and inspire you to succeed.

Job Finding Club
We invite you to join YWCA Saskatoon’s Job Finding Club-Online (via Zoom) and achieve your employment goals.
The Job Finding Club Online (via Zoom) will help you find the best possible job within the shortest feasible time during the COVID-19 pandemic. We assist and support job seekers to find work within the hidden job market. We work with you to refine and target your cover letters and resumes. We support you in generating job leads and building your network. We will prepare you for your next job interview and support you to understand and build your personal brand. And we will provide guidance and support in job searching online and using social media to enhance your job search during the pandemic period and beyond.
The Job Finding Club Online (via Zoom) is a 10-day program in the mornings (Monday – Friday).

Career Moves Program
Are you between 55-64 years of age and looking for a job or making a career transition?
If so, The Career Moves 55-64 Program might be right for you! Join our group to learn effective job search strategies, connect with employers, enhance your computer skills, gain confidence, and stay motivated in your job search!
About the program:
Program start date: May 2, 2022
- Program last day: July 22, 2022
- Program duration: 12 consecutive weeks, split into two 6-week long sections (first 6 weeks = learning/training; second 6 weeks = un-paid work placement)
- Hours of commitment: 30 hours per week
- Program format: blended (virtual and in-person; group activities, individual support, and independent activities)
Note: Provincial Training Allowance (PTA) might be available during the program. Inquire for further information.
To be considered for a spot in the program, each person must apply through completing this online application. Only the successful applicants will be asked to partake in the next step of the application process – an interview.
