You know, the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon and YWCA Saskatoon are old friends. Well, some of our members are actually young, but our organizations have worked together in our city for ages.
The historic Kinsmen Park gates mark the entrance to the YWCA main doors just off 25th Street.
And the Kinsmen have actively raised funds in our community for many years, with generous support for YWCA programs for women and families, plus numerous other community programs happening all around the community at other organizations.
We’re very proud to have the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon sponsoring the Women of Distinction Awards® and presenting the Athletics Award again this year.
For Kinsmen president Craig Harris, the close sponsorship of the awards is another way to impact our community: “The Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon is proud to support the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards as it serves to not only honour those deserving women who have positively impacted our community, but to ensure that the YWCA Saskatoon can continue to provide support and security to women and families in need of it,” he said.
Thank you, Kinsmen, for everything you do for Saskatoon!
The Women of Distinction Awards® Dinner is presented by PotashCorp.
