Fully Equipped and Ready to Work in the Skilled Trades

On behalf of program coordinator Shirley Bonnetrouge, and all of us on the YWCA Saskatoon team, congratulations to our Trade Journey women for completing the first part of their program!

These tradeswomen are the second group who have started the journey toward their dream careers in the skilled trades and they are now ready to work.

We are pleased to announce that this second cohort was very successful. Out of the 12 participants that completed their work placements, 7 have received full time employment offered by their work placement employers.

We are grateful to all of our employers and partners who made this program a success.

The next program will start soon–we are organizing the calendar for the next Trade Journey cohort for the new year. Info sessions are taking place between January 18 – 22.

Watch for more information on the YWCA Facebook page or contact us at (306) 244-7034 at extension 131 or extension 231 to sign up for the info sessions.
