Philosophy:
The belief that children are individuals and as such will benefit from learning opportunities that suit their own personality is the centre’s guiding principle. All staff teach children respect for self, others, the environment, nature, and all living things.
The YWCA Centre is designed to provide a safe healthy and enjoyable place for
children during the day, when they cannot be at home. The aim of the Centre is to complement a child’s home experience, not to replace them. To accomplish this, the Centre provides a warm, caring program that concentrates on the needs of the children.
