Celebrating the Strength of Women of All Abilities

Celebrate the strength of women of all abilities, this International Women’s Day.

Our theme is “We’re All in this Together: Celebrating Resiliency & Community Connection for Women of all Abilities”.

Multipurpose Room at Station 20 West

Monday, March 7

2:00 – 6:00pm

The event will include a discussion about the exprience of living with disability, what contributes to resiliency, and creating inclusive communities. It will also include creative expression stations to learn about arts, photography, storytelling, spoken word, music, drumming, painting, and face painting.

This is a free, come and go event, with refreshments provided. Free child minding is offered from 3:00 to 6:00.

The venue has automatic/double doors, is all on the main level of the building with minimal thresholds at doors, and has accessible gender neutral washrooms adjacent to the space. Sign language interpreters and event navigators will be present.
